Default question about jba duals

hi, i am going for a dual exaust very soon, and i am really leaning towards the jba's because they are not very loud like the others. however, i have heard a few times that the jba exhust tips stick out a bit too much and that parts of the tubes need to be cut down. is this actually true? because i dont really have any means of cutting metal myself

Jba Duals "h"

........will have to cut the Y at the end of the Cat tubes.... (hack saw or reciprocating saw)
........Sticks out a couple of inches (getting gt rear bumper to cover better)
........Tack Weld fittings also very much recomemded.

the sound + power makes it worth.

I agree! I had to cut a few inches off too. A hacksaw will do just fine. I had my system completely welded once installed. Great sound without being too loud.
