This is my first post here but have read it many many times. I own a 2006 Mustang v6 and a 69 Mustang 351W v8. I just installed my MRT (got the idea from here). It is very loud. It past up my expectations by a long shot. The drone when acc. is kinda annoying. What can i get to help lower the drone? would a Air intake help? i can deal with it though if i have to if there is nothing i can do. Thanks.

Resonators are going to be your bestg option...staggered seems to be the best way to do it, so that the sound waves don't hit at the same time. Someone else here could probably explain it better...

Resonator should definitely help... I know MRT is working on a resonator.. might be worth a call to them and asking them what the status is...

A new intake will help deepen the exhaust note... but may not really help your problem...

ok thanks guys...i think i can wait until MRT makes it. They make some good products that is worth the money.

Just wanted to point out that if you just installed the muffler, it's going to sound like that for a little, then it'll change. My dual MRTs have quieted down quite a bit since I first got them about 2k miles ago. Used to be like that at all times, but now only when I'm around 2500 rpms...
