Default So I went...

to get my Personalized tag I ordered a month ago. I had to go to the downtown office, instead of the one a block away, from me since that's where they give them out at. I get down there and have to park two blocks away and walk to the office since they were redoing the parking lot. Anyways I stand in line waiting to get to the counter. I finally get up there and make some friendly chit chat with the rather cute chick helping me and then she goes to get my tag. We only have rear plates here in Kansas, but when you get peronal plates you get front and back tags. Well the back one was right "Burn Em" like it was supposed to be. The front one however said "BURN ME". LOL. Ok obviously not right so she tries to get a supervisor to see what to do, She couldn't find one so we chit chat for awhile waiting for one. She tells me she drives an 03 GT and how she just loves the new Body style and what not, and how she thought my tag was perfect for a mustang... then this dumb little rice driving boy next to us starts talking about his honda to us and how he can smoke old 5.0's with his 4 cylinders. He's all talking and looking at us like we should tell him how cool he is. I just said whatever man and she snickered and rolled her eyes at him. Anyways the Supervisor finally shows up and says that they have to reorder BOTH plates instead of just giving me the right one that I need and giving me the other one (that I don't need) later. So now I've got to wait another month just to get my tag. They were really nice though and very appologetic so it was ok, plus I got to talk to a real cute chick that loves mustangs. So that was a plus. SO now to let the wait begin again.

Sorry for the pointless story, but not much going on and I thought I'd share.

That really sucks you can't just stick the rear one on, and wait another month for the useless one to come in. Ah well. Nice plates!

I guess not. The cute chick helping me really wanted to do that, but the sup said no. Oh well. Far worse things in life than waiting on vanity plates

Yeah, I suppose so. I'd like to get some vanitys, but I have no clue what I'd want them to say, so I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Here in MO, you have to have both front and rear on your car. On top of that, you can only have 6 letters and one space, dash or some other spacer thing.

Oh really? It's about 30 miles west of St. Louis.
