Default Billets or mine??

Just curious, my Stang can with the stock "fan blade" wheel as you can see in my pic. I wonder if "Billets" (spokes) might look better??
Hmmmmmmm......

I think the Bullits were made for this body style! I can't imagine my car without them, they were my first mod. The only down side is that's what got the whole mod thing started; after the wheels I had to lower it, then exhaust etc....

I should have asked them if they could have changed the wheels at the dealer when I bought it in March.
It will be a hassle I think trying to sell them and I'm not sure what the billets will cost.

Go to Saleen, they sell the takeoffs for $425 wheels and tires. I assume when you say Billets you mean Bullitts?

Tom, be glad you didn't ask the dealer to get you different wheels. I had the polished Ford 17" Bullits included in my purchase price, but the dealer couldn't get them. They finally wrote me a check after 4 weeks, and I bought them locally with the Pirelli's, and sold my 16's to the shop.

Depending on your location, you may want to keep your 16" wheels to mount all-season snow tires for winter driving (or sell them to somebody in a colder climate for the same reason).

Question - Were you asking about Bullit wheels (like on mine pictured below), or billet wheels (machined out of aluminum, and sold by folks like Coddington and Foose)? If you are thinking about Bullit wheels, Saleen has take-offs for sale on their website (edit - as beaustang posted right above me as I was typing). eBay has loads of them, too. If you want billet wheels, perhaps others here can properly steer you to a good website to see a wide selection. Not to nitpick, but "fan blade" wheels are the optional 18" wheels that became available on the 2006 models (no pic, but they are flat, five bladed wheels). Some folks call the stock 16's "Halibrand-style", which is what was available on the Shelby cars in the 60's.

Good luck to you, and post some pix after you decide.
