Yea, the rear seats come down, then reach into the trunk and grab the internal latch. It glows in the dark and has a picture of a man exiting the trunk.

OK ... I'll admit it.... I almost had to crawl into the trunk once myself. I am always triple checking that I didn't drop the keys in the trunk when getting things out of it. Luckily I was at home and had my spare set. I really didn't feel like wiggling through the trunk - lol

Wish Ford would have put in a trunk release in these cars... makes no sense why they didn't

Attach an extra key fob to the underside of your console lid. Now you have a trunk release

Unless of course you're driving a vert, then you're SOL. The seats don't fold down in verts.....

Very true. But if you are desperate to get into the trunk and have access to the passenger compartment, you could remove the rear seat and fish a clothes hanger through one of the small openings to grab the emergency safety latch to pop the trunk (no, I do not know this through personal experience!)

Last weekend I locked my keys in the car with the motor running! Luckly I was at home and had my spare set.
