Quick help pls Caliper temp range
I am just about to paint my calipers, found some heat resistant paint to 500 degrees..... I am not sure if our caliper can get hotter than that under heavy (traffic) breaking.
Any Ideas?

if there is a walmart near you (I'm sure there is) check out the automotive section for "Duplicolor brake caliper paint kit" or something along those lines, it has the high heat paint that you'll need to paint the calipers.
Thanks the store was out of my color.....
I found engine paint in the correct color and it resists heat to 500 F...... Looking on line dot 4 brake fluid boils at 446 F .....
I do not think I will get that hot unless I go to circuit racing for 100 laps.

Just got off the phone with the Dupli-color tech hotline 1(800)247-3270
They informed me that the Heat resistance of the Caliper paint was rated for heat up to 500
I hope this helps.
