Default Stripes for Vert

I'm considering putting on some stripes but was wondering if it would look good on a vert. Anyone have a vert with stripes? Also, is it hard putting them on and where is the best place to purchase them? Thanks

there are tons of places you can buy them. one of the forum sponsors, Baltimore Street Mods has good prices and good selection. Local sign shops are also a good place to look.

I think the stripes look good on a vert

edit: from your avatar, I see you have a yellow vert with black top. I assume you were thinking black stripes. I think that would look just fine.

try Rob at Baltimore street mods http://www.baltimorestreetmods.com/ i've been to a few shows with him, his work is very good, and he's great to deal with

Someone on the Forum has a black vert with dual white stripes -- look for "Pepe". I think they look good on the vert and will be adding some to mine the first weekend in August -- and I'll post pictures when it is done as well.

Here ya go.... Still need to take some picks with the GT take off Bullit wheels installed though.

The stripes were put on by the Dealer before I bought it. The cutout around the front plate was done by hand but looks ok from a normal distance, and there a few wrinkles on the back bumper. If I had paid $995 dollars (the dealers listed price for the stripe) I would have made them redo it, but since I got them for "free" (the forgot about the added stripe and remote start when we negotiated the price) I can't complain.

07/11/06 ... took some new opics and changed my sig pic

Looks sweet, i love the full length stripes instead of the ones that end where they couldnt be bothered to finish at the factory ones.

You asked for opinions. I err on the conservative side on this one, I can't imagine my convertible with stripes on it. SATIN SILVER with a metallic CHARCOAL package would look sweet on a hardtop, I just don't envision it on the convertible. Just my opinion.

I like that look -- should have mine done in a couple of weeks and will post pictures as well. Yours is the first black with white stripes I've seen and since that is what I'm doing I remembered seeing your picture. Thanks for the front and back view.
My plan is for the solid white in the middle with a 1/2" "pinstripe" on each side --
