thinkin about some exhaust cutouts for fun, should install be before or after x-pipe? does it even matter?

I've been told by a guy who has them, to install them after the "X' or "H" pipe connection gives the best sound. Let me know how they sound on the V6.

I was told BEFORE the cats for the best and loudest sound. space is going to be an issue for electric cutouts, im trying to figure a way to do them myself.
