Default Installing dual GT takeoffs

I've searched this topic before posting.

Went to a muffler place today. They said they could fabricate the required piping to accomodate the second GT muffler for around $225 (US), but we didn't really get into specifics (i.e. H-pipe, X-pipe, whatever). Should I make it clear to them that it needs to be an H-pipe for this particular vehicle, or is this just the preference amongst members here? If an H-pipe is not essential, what are it's advantages?

The guy said I'd need to buy the hangers from Ford, and from what I read here, I only need to buy one ('cause I have the spare RS hanger). I called my dealership and the first thing they asked was "Which hanger do you need? Front, rear, GT, V6, they are all different". I said I didn't really know, and he said I'd be looking at around $80 (US).

This brings me to the bumper. Considering the costs, I'll cut mine first and replace it with a GT later if I'm unhappy with the cut.

all the hangers are the same, ive checked and rechecked the part numbers for the install. I used them on my car installin a gt axle back. Hpipe for sound, Xpipe for power, even though its not that big of a difference between the two.

Great, thanks. I"m going for sound, so I'll ask for an H-pipe. What's the best place to buy a hanger, 'cause I'm not spending $80 for one at the dealership.

Thanks for the link. I think I'll shop around for more muffler shops, because I'm just not getting that good feeling from this particular place. They mentioned I'd need the Ford part, and didn't even suggest that they could do without.
