yep, mine is a daily driver. I drive it in the snow and rain and everything. I have been lucky so far and haven't received any hail damage. I have another car that is a show car. That one used to be my every day driver until I got my Mustang in Feb 05.

DD for now but I drive for a living and am looking for an older Mercedes 300E that I can put the bulk of the miles on so I don't wear out my Pony prematurely.

Found the right DD 1993 MB 300E

I tried taking Metro to work for a while to save money ($90/month parking + gas + my job pays for your metro tickets), but it was just driving me CRAZY. I had to walk by my car every day on the way out, and I was always looking for excuses to go drive somewhere so I could get my Mustang fix. So I put a stop to that and now I drive it every day. It's a short trip, but lots of stop and go (mostly stop), so my odometer's not scaring me yet.

i know your guys pain. My wife is probably gonna get a fusion and i will drive her 00 camry, the thing is i dont like it. I love driving my mustang. I too look for excuses to go out when i dont get my fix. It always seems that if i do drive her car, i always see cars that i wanna do a little run with, but wait "i am in the crappy camry!". The happiness goes down, and then if i try and go out after we get back home, i never see anything on the road. I gotta get another mustang!!!

I drive it every day -- 60 miles one way from garage door to office garage. However, I will be getting a "winter car" in September -- when I bought the Mustang my wife's first question was, "you aren't planning to drive that all winter are you?"

Daily driver. Where I live, the road is really hard on vehicles. Lots of rain, frequent salting December through February, and a booming economy that keeps thousands of dump trucks busy on the roads outside of Vancouver, BC Canada. The valley is dotted with dozens of gravel pits, and I take the odd rock to the windshield on a seemingly regular basis. The area where I work has been a dustbowl, lately. What can you do, but realize that cars don't last forever, and I'll likely be in the market for a 2016 Mustang V6 when they come out (as long as Mustangs don't look like Civics in ten years, otherwise I'll make the switch to a Charger or even a Challenger)

your poll is not working......but anyway, mine is a daily driver, about 70 miles a day. It hurts. This time next year my warranty will already be up and I just got the car in January. I wish I had a little GEO metro to drive to work. Granted I'm 6'6" and would probably have to drive from the back seat, at least I wouldn't be putting miles on my pride & joy.
I hear ya... I got my 06 Pony back in February, and I took a new job 50 miles away starting last May. The two guys I used to carpool with have since moved up there, so now I put 600 miles weekly on it going to and from.

I know eventually I'll have to move up there, but damn, the thought of having to change my oil virtually every month kinda stings. Oh well... I rationalize it this way... it's a car, it's meant to be driven, might as well enjoy the hell out of it.
