Actually... a piston came apart at about 500 ft/lbs... Take a look at the dyno:



The 446 is at about 2700 RPM... the minimum recommened RPM to spray is 2500... However on the run in question I sprayed at around 2000 RPM... oops... That's what happens when you get greedy...

 

Screamin where did you get another 4.0L??? And how much was it? Was it straight from Ford? Or yanked out of a totaled Vehicle? I always wanted to ask you.

 

Not sure where Scott picked it up at... my understanding is it was out of a wreck... motor had something between 5000 and 10,000 miles on it.... Looked like it was brand new... LOL!

As far as price... hmmm... let's just say it was very reasonable... LOL

 

in other words scrmin and his buddies raided the junk yard with sling shots, tied up the junk yard tenant, and jacked that ****!

now.. now... everything is legit... if you watch ebay you can usually pick up a 4.0L for around $1000....
