My base v6 at the track weighs 3610lbs last time I ran it with 1/3 tank of fuel and street trim. I decided to weigh the original 16" wheel and tires, they each weigh 41lbs, my 17x9 chrome wheels with the nitto 255/50's weigh 53.5 lbs each. 12.5 lbs more of unsprung weight for a total of 50 extra lbs- still not near the almost 300 lbs more than rygens car. The other mods are the street scene fascia, dual exhaust and hood scoop- hard to believe those weigh 200+lbs. Anyone out there work for ford and know if there were some changes along the line? My car was built in april of 05.

the car itself weighs bout 3350 lbs. So add a 200lb driver, and ur already at 3550...then 60 lbs of misc. seems about right to me
