Default Weight Reduction

We're no fatty's but we're not light either. 3300lbs is a lot of sheet metal to push around.

What can we do to reduce weight?

Sure, take out the spare tire and jack, worth maybe 40lbs. CF hood maybe worth 7-10lbs? CF trunk lid worth another 10lbs or so. I only weigh 130lbs... so I'm not dragging the car down. What have you guys done to put a dent in our power:weight ratio?

subframe from BMR
aluminum driveshaft
BMR radiator support sway bar delete.
those 3 would probably be worth about another 80 lbs

lightweight 15" weld xp wheels. like 3-6 lbs each. plus tires.
good for another 100 lbs+ and less rotating mass.
so do that with the CF hood and trunk, tire and jack, rear seat.... ur lookin at like 250-300 lbs.

The driveshaft and subframe sound nice. I dented up my old subframe, wish I knew about an aftermarket one before I had them replace the stock one.

those power seats weigh more than they need too, take out some motors and wires, and it sounds like 15 pounds a seat to me :P that new bmw z3 m3 thing has a can of fix a flat for its spare tire!!if that sounds dumb just get AAA. You could take apart your doors and put it back together after pulling out all the insulation , if you think the stereo only needs to be loud enough so you can hear it take out a few speakers ( those mini woofers in our doors gatta weigh something!!) Do you have a manual or auto matic?? if its an auto you could probly go without the whole emergency brake system(including e-brake brake pads), and hope there's no emergency. And not including the can of fix a flat you dont have to buy anything, you might even be able to sell some of it.
