Default New 2k5 on the block.

Hey guys, I'm a newb here to the forums... I figured this would be as good of place as any to get some tips for my new ride.

It's pretty basic, I just picked it up:

Just had to get a post out there to show off my new pride =). I'm pretty excited about seeing what you guys are doing to add the performance and maintain a warranty.

Congrats, that looks nice. I like how its got the red rocker panels instead of the flat black and also i love the hood scope, is that a xenon hood scope?

Thanks alot, yep, you've got it.. That's the Xenon scoop. Sits a little further back than a couple of the others I've seen. I like the placement better.

The color matched rockers are added on, as is the front bumper... Again, the flat black just didn't strike a cue, so colormatched it was.

Oh ya it definately looks nice the scope looks like it has a nice placement. I also have the torch red but i have the door stripes and the flat black rockers but im gonna change out the rockers there only like $80 bucks so its cheap enough. How much did you pay to get the scoop painted?

I'm looking at the rocker decals... Still wieghing in on those though.

I got it painted by a friend of the family, didn't cost a dime. No complaints.

Looks good. Is it a GT or did you add the GT body kit?

looks nice. The only thing i dont like, a lot of dealers put them on, is the moulding on the door. Just not my taste. Rest of the car looks great

v6 rims and it doesn't look like that's a GT rear bumper, hard to tell though...anyway cause of the rims i'm betting a six. Looks great though.

I agree, I think it'll look better without the door strip thing. Your stang is looking good though, what do you have planned for it?
