RE: n00b Question - Performance Specs
those recorded 0-60 times are both really off....everybody seems to be getting something like this
v6: 6.2-6.3
gt: 4.8-5.0
v6: 6.2-6.3
gt: 4.8-5.0
doesnt make sense.

RE: n00b Question - Performance Specs
ORIGINAL: StoneWolf
2005 Ford Mustang V-6 (Manual)
0-60: 6.3
1/4 mile: 14.8
(C&D Feb 05)
2005 Ford Mustang V-6 (Manual)
0-60: 6.3
1/4 mile: 14.8
(C&D Feb 05)
C&D also doesnt test their cars on a real track. Just a half mile strip of regular asphalt (a lot easier to launch a peg leg on asphalt then a track) with gtech like equipment.

Im sorry, but 6.3 is still kind of low. My friends stock 04 GT does 0-60 in 6.0 flat. So a modded 05 6 with gears CAI and tune could run down a 04 v-8? im a missing somthing? My old v-6 with THESE MODS ran a 0-60 in 6.37 at the track.

no this is not what people will usually run, in fact i have never seen a time like this from anyone stock, but i have seen damn close to a 15 flat stock and i did see a 14.98 slip for a stock manual pp somewhere on cardomain, i will try to find it. Realistically the car will run a low-mid 15 with a pretty good driver

RE: n00b Question - Performance Specs
pony package gives you the same tires as on a GT, (Pzero neros) and a rear swaybar (possibly other things).
Pony package handles much better than a regular v6...i drove my buddies...huge difference.
pp handes great.
