im getting the gt bumpers, i was wondering if i should put in the gt lights in the gt bumper and have to deal with buying the foam, wheel well covers, screws all that crap. or should i buy the center lighted streetscene grille for the v6 bumper, and throw a chinspoiiler on the existing one. then i could sell the gt bumper/grille i have coming (wont need to buy fogs, they are coming) and make like 3-400 possibly??

any opinions on what i should do. im putting the rear gt bumper on and i'd have to get a chin spoiler painted to match the lines of the car since gt bumpers are lower, and sideskirts are painted. which would look the best?

 

IMO....i would do the streetscene grille with the chin spoiler. converting to a GT body is what a ton of people do. be original, be different heh.

I agree with Jersey. Either leave the lights off, or going with some other grille setup will make your car unique. Shelby make an interesting grille and you can use PIAA lights with it, or maybe adapt the PIAA lights to your existing grille. Do some looking around and see what floats your boat, then go for it.

yea it'll be sick, just don't leave those black side mustang stripes with the white stripes lol...just might get the most colorful car in the year book haha

Thats what I really wanted to do, but then I realized it would cost me more to do it that way so why not get a Gt bumper, The chin spoiler is 250 plus shipping then lets say 100-200 to paint and then probably a little more to install. Where as I probably can get a painted Gt front bumper for like 350 shipped.

how would a matte black one look with the black side skirts and the rear gt bumper. will the rear one be too low since its the gt one and will it not look right?

 

definetly get white stripes...how many red GT's have you seen with white stripes besides a GT500?
