Default Tranny Problem

SATURNSTANG05

Date 11/03/2006
Status: offline I have a 2005 stang,(v6, Auto) been having problems with my tranny. it seems to shake bad when in reverse O/D light on, it also gives me P0755 Shift Solenoid B malfunction. I've taken it to the dealer and he says that it might be a cable, but another mechanic says that it could be my Solenoid pack[IMG][/IMG]. any experiences or suggestions?
The above thread was made in the wrong section, so I am reposting it here. Can anybody help him out???

If the car is under warranty i would take it in and let the dealer fix it. Not much else we can tell you.

If its not under warranty, might want to look into a take off tranny. Several race junkies are going with C4's so there are some auto's laying around. I bet one of the hard cores at Mod Fords has one.

hey just thought id see if i could help out. im somewhat new to diagnosing transmissions but i can tell you this much it is not a cable. the shift pack or shift solenoids they are referring to are a good possibility. we have had a lot of issues with this transmission and shift solenoids in the explorers but not so much if at all in the mustangs that i have seen. have you got any problems with first or third gear by any chance?

YES ACTUALLY ON THE 1ST SHIFT, BUT NOT ON THE THIRD, REVERSE IS MY BIGGEST CONCERN IT PAUSES FOR A GOOD 10 SECONDS AND SUDDENTLY HITS BUT SOMETIMES IT FEELS LIKE THE SHIFT IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH AND IT SHAKES BAD. LET ME KNOW

You know I was speaking to SOLDSHORT when I wrote that, right? Sounds like jettblack06 might have a handle on your problem.
