the gt500 motor is a 330....im thiinkin it is possible for a 351, but itd be a tight fit. explore your options, you may be better off going with a 302.

Actually I remember reading some place, maybe the latest issue of 5.0, that Ford was looking at a 351 CID version of the Modular V8 for the upcoming/proposed S197 BOSS.

i think you would be in good shape with a crate 5.0 motor. you can get them with 400 and 500 HP for a couple grand.

My dad and I are working on a 351W right now, and I jokingly said we should slip it into My V6, but now that I think about it, It's pretty possible. Now keep in mind, It's not just going to bolt right up, and you'll lose all of your gauges until you figure out something else, but that would be a pretty sick ride.

wouldnt u also need to get a new tranny if u got a different engine? so then new tranny u need new a driveshaft, and a bigger rear end to handle the power. upgraded suspension for the added wieght and yea that all i can think of off the top of my head, minus wiring and all that toher good stuff
