hey whats up guys? im new to the fourm but ive been into mustangs and fords for ever. i just became a member because i just got a 2005 mustang v6. I love the car and i already have a ton of performance ideas. but are there just somethings they aboslutly do not make for this car? Ive been looking for 2 days now i can not find any coil-on-plug up upgrades, diffrent heads, or any sort of shift improver.

any sort of help would be greatly appreciated.

I think Super Six Motorsports has ported/polished/decked heads as well as cams. For a shift improver, it depends on your car. For a manual I'm pretty sure there are some short throws out there, and there's the X-Cal tuner to modify line pressure and shift points. Also, I remember someone making an aftermarket auto shifter.

thanks man.

Well its an auto. and a 4.0. i just love the B&M shift plus its makes my crown vic alot more fun, i was just wondering if anyone made somthing like that.

What are some good proven performance mods for this car?

do long tube headers fit in the bay or do i need to pull the motor?

Mac Longtube headers fit with the offroad H/X pipe depends if you are in a state that you want to get smogged.

A good cold air intake will do you good at the same time

and while you are at the same game go with the sct xcal2 tuner and adjust your shift points, and adjusts eveerything else for the ability to make the best out of CAI and headers.
