Do the v6 and the GT's have the same transmission?

autos do, even thought there are slight differences

6er 5 speed is t5
GTs are t3650

naaaa i was talkin to fazdog(fazm) and he said something about how the gt and the v6 have different flexplates or something like that so you cant use a torque convertor for the gt on the v6

sorry i wish you could too id have one in the mail tomarrow

You can check these guys out. They can reinstall a higher stall 3000rpm converter or mod your converter, I think.

Ok! They can re-work your conveter for about 550 and make the stall 2800-3000 or you can have them build one for you, around 700 for our cars. Labor is around 450, with tax your looking at a little over $1000
