I don't know if anyone is from or familiar with Orlando but I was driving down Alafaya from this girls house when I was given the chance to race a Scion Tc. He was in the far right lane and I was in the left lane with nobody in the middle. I don't think he expected me to race him but I thought I'd just have a little fun and see what they have. So the light turns green and I saw him take off, which is what gave me the impression that he was trying to show off or something so then I launched. I was even with him until about 3rd gear then I just kept pulling on him... The cool thing is I know I will be getting bashed for street racing but the limit on this road was 55 and I never went over 65, if that. He saw me pass him after launching later and I guess he slowed down because I passed him so I slowed down as well because there was a light coming up anyways. We were both in front at the next light as well and I just chilled and didn't do anything. Well i thought I would share the story with everyone on here. I know I probably shouldn't be proud about a Scion but it was fun lol.

 

lol nice kill. i love the tc drivers who get the factory body kit/spoiler package whatever it is called and think they have a quick car while it still runs high 15's at best

 

I'm not gonna bash on the street racing cause I do it as well.
I still haven't gotten to race any scion's. I would have thought you
would be ahead of him the whole way through since you have the gears
and T-Lok. Nice Kill keep that list growing! But of course be safe, and
make sure there aren't any people around you could hurt.

 

Haha, yeah actually it was one with a factorybody kit and spoiler and I think it was manual but I don't really remember it happened kind of fast.

 

To be completely honest I didn't know what the true power of a Scion Tc was. I know it's somewhere around 180 HP or something. I think one reason is because I was looking over and then the light turned green and he took off before me so I was next to him kind of then passed him once I hit 3rd and kept pulling on him.I guess I was kind of hesitant because I don't know much about those cars.

Damn... I didn't realize that. I'm not even tuned yet that might be one reason I didn't destroy him. I pulled on him hard though after 3rd gear. It ws fun.

You know I was thinking about getting one before I saaw the stang. A friend of mine at schoolhas one and he wants to start a car club with me which is pretty cool. They look best with the body kits though IMO... but yeah I would get one of those before a Honda lol
