http://www.2005stang.com/gallery/alb...tc290b%26d.pdf wiring connecter on the back of the head unit.....I used pin #2 for mine...it works great.
http://www.2005stang.com/gallery/alb...adioremove.pdf radio removal...its to easy, but you have to remove the console
http://www.2005stang.com/gallery/alb...81/console.pdf console removal instructions...and
http://www.2005stang.com/gallery/alb...ceterpanel.pdf all the stuff around the head unit..
good luck.....also think about tapping into the rear speaker wiring harness to get the signal for your amp...of course you will need a 2 chanel line out converter then set your head unit to drivers seat.....to get max sound... There is no wiring diagram for the rear speakers showing the color codes that I know of, I just looked at the speakers to get the colors and then traced the wires down to the floor area so that my taps would not be seen. I used velcro to attach my lineout converter to the underside of the parcle shelf....I didn't want to drill any holes, and I used taps so that no wires were ever cut and it could all be put back factory appearing...no one will ever know if I take my stuff out.

when u hook up the converter it dosent mater which side is to which just look at ur sub if it is hitting thw wrong way just switch ur rcas around and ur good. thats what i did and that what i sometimes do usally i just take a 9 vt battery tap in to it and see which way the speaker goes if it goes out i know i got the + and - hooked up right, i would go to my car and see but in order to get to it i gotta rip out the box, and custom **** which takes to long =) lol. any question aabout audio feel free to ask i got plenty of exp. and do it for a living.
no and wattage doesn't matter either to my knowledge...but i'm not an expert just been doing it 20 plus years.... mine was like 20 bucks at alocal audio shop, isn't adjustable...or powered...I got a two chanel one. 5 wires total.....4 speaker and a ground.
Same just split the rca's with a less than 10dollar adapter at radioshack....tell them you need an adapter to turn 1 rca into 2...then get 2 of them....turns your 2 rca's into 4 for your 4 chanel amp. That way you can bridge the 4 chanels into 2, one for each sub
What do you think of infinitiy's 10" self-amplified subwoofer setups? Would it do much for me just having it facing the back of the rear seats?
It has line levelinputs and the upper end version is setup to easily add another amp for mids/tweets.
Thanks.
