How much more hp will one get with a CAI................over a performance air filter like K & N or S & B?

oh yea...............and are the air filters like the ones that i mentioned above.............the same size as the gt air filters?

those filters claim like 2-3 hp while the cais say like 8 hp. Its the tune that really matters though

I can only speak for what I have. I have the K & N Aircharger. It doesn't require a tune, and they say it will add 7.54hp on their site. This isn't an outrageous claim, so I tend to believe it's true. As soon as I put it on, there was a noticable difference. By no means did it make the car a screaming monster, but throttle lag was improved and the car had some more giddy up to it.

As for the drop in filters, I don't think you'll see much in the gains department, but since you don't replace them, they'll save you some $$$ over time.
