Default Removing a dealership decal

In anycase,

I have a decal from my dealership ontop of my left rear light, Its on the actual paint "Midway Ford" (incase any1 wanted to know lol)

In any case, I just wanted to know if any of you knew a safe way to remove it, in order to not mess up the clearcoat + paint.

Thanks a lot!

btw recently got dual magnas w/ x pipe, and gt side skirts + rear bumper on same day lol... I feel like a kid on xmas driving that car.

There are a lot of ways to go about this...I got mine off by rubbing someglue remover on it to soften it up, thenItook really thin fishing string and worked it under the sticker untill I could peel it off by hand. Then I finished it off by rubbing theglue remover over the spot to get anything left over off. I did it the at the same time I washed my car so I cleaned and waxed the whole thing after. By the way, the glue remover said it was safe on most surfaces....that was good enough for me to use it.

Hey, let's keep it simple.
The decal is a simple glue on. They use a gum type resin to stick the decal on so it won't mess up the paint.
You can safely and easily peel it off with your fingers.
Use your finger nail to pry up a corner or edge of it then slowly and carefully peel it off.
The remaining glue comes off easily with some good old WD-40 on a rag of course.
Rubb-ah-dub-dub and your paint will look good as new,,,because it is ;-).
I hate dealer stickers! Pissed me off as after I purchased the car and it came back from prep, they stuck that stinkin sticker on my car!
How dare them stick **** on 'my car' like that!
There should be a law against it! ;-p

Hair dryer, then peel it off, then use glue gone to take the excess residue off and there you go.

okay you want to hear hell. so I drove 4 hours to go get my car. when we got there,we looked it over, and then noticed that the headlight bracket was cracked (friend pointed it out). Then they had to replace the assembly. dont forget though that the part wasnt in stock, so they first had to take it off a green one to use in my car. But to get to the light, they have to jack it up, take teh wheel off, take the wheel well off and reach behind and pull, so they had to do that to the green one, and to mine twice. so of course we werent going to sign anything until we knew it was fixed. So after that took an hour of waiting forit to be done we could finally start going over the financing and all the details. Then we had to load it on the trailer to bring it home.(another annoyance of mine). I couldnt even drive it the way home!?! Of Course not! Massachusetts would NEVer think of giving out temp tags. So on the way home, I read the entire manual and looked out the back window every 2 seconds. Most exciing day, but a pain in the A$$.

O yeh to tie this to the thread, the huge lion sticker on the bumper, I didnt want to bug them to do that as well, and merely wanted to get the hell out of there. Took it off that night.
