Default AUTOCROSS

I just found out about the scca. They are having an auto cross event thisSunday that is not to far from where I live. I have to attend I have been dieing to be able to push my car hard and thisis thesafe responsible way to do it. Sine racing in the street is dangerous to others. I am going to call up first thing tomorrow morning and sign up its kind of expensive like 45 or so to sign up. Still it’s the only way to auto cross that I know about. I will defiantly be looking forward to sunday. I’m just worried that ill be the slowest newbie power wise but I am a good driver.

Please post about any advice or related experience dealing with this subject.

I called the location where the event is taking place and found out I don’t have to sign up to the scca. All I have to do is pay a fee at the event itself. This is a solo event where you race against the clock, for the best time in your class. This is not a race with actual cars on the track at the same time as that would also be fun but there’s always the chance of a crash and can’t afford to have that happen to a daily driver. Its on Sunday I am looking forward to it. Now I can take full advantage of my new tokicos.
