ok so this is the situation im 19 years old and in school full time. so i dont have much time for work. and i commute to school so i drive alot. in august i bought a 2006 V6 mustang brand new it dnt rele have anything done to it just a slp exhaust and k&nCAI. my plans for the car were to deck it out and go crazy on it procharge it this summer, new gears new differential, p the suspension and go all out. but lately ive been missin a V8 so im wondering if it would be worth it to hook up this car or find a V8.

so i was considering getting a V8 stang which body style idk. the main problem is i can only afford 1 car so its going to be my daily driver as well so i was consideringgetting like an '02-'04 GT just because of price or even maybe a mach 1. ive had alot of experience with the sn platform bcuz my old car was a 1997 GT so im just looking for incite any and all would be appreciated. i kno what im lookin for but i wanna kno wat u guys think i should do mainly on keepin my car or gettin something else. thank you.

Dam man thats all on you. I find it fun to have a spuced up V6. I was messing around with a guy on the way back from talking with a school tonight. He had 99-04 GT with exhaust, cats might have been gutted/gonecause it sounded to good. Might have has shorter gears also but I kept up with it fine. I love that stuff. Cause its only a 6. If your gunna get the 8 don't stop there bro. You best get the procharger for that 8.Boost it, don't just do exhaust and gears and headers and be done, boost it.

yea if i keep the 6 its gonna be charged no matter how much work but idk if id rather have the 8. i do like havin a sleeper. im kinda lookin for anyone who has made similar moves? decisions? likeanyone who went from 8 to 6? or 6 considering 8?

I voted Mach 1, for the price to pro charge it you can get a nice v6 stang which maybe a couple years older but still nice none the less. I never really saw the point of dropping 4-5 thousand on Forced Induction i would rather just trade up for the GT myself.

01 Cobra!? Where's the option for the 03-04 Cobra!?

I voted to procharge the 06 V6 just because you said
that you are using it as a daily driver.. ...just my $0.02

well 03-04 cobra i love but cant afford insurance i would be able to handle. those are too hard too find for under 30 my range is about 28 and it needs to have low miles

the slp is just one of the axleback kit for now it is made for the GT but bolts up perfectly sounds great so until i put my x-pipe and headers on its single but if i keep her ima make it dual. ill try and get some pics up. It sounds great nice and loud with a good idle sometimes can fool ya its only a 6. but yea because the GT and V6 muffler bolts up the same its a direct swap just have to remove one hanger if anyone ever wants to attempt ill be more than happy to give detailed instructions. im pretty happy with it and as far as ive seen one of the first to put it on on a 6 yay for bein a pioneer!
