Okay, so tonight I put my K& N CAI in the dark, in the cold. and looks like a good jobI must say... Some would say, " your stupid." but I would answer, I knew what I was doing and had all the stuff ready to go so all I had to do was rip out the stock crap. Took me about 50 mins total. I ll send some pics. Next question, I saw a post on a black Tail, on a lime paint job. I have been toyin with the though of getting a take off and get it black gloss and have my cervini window scoop black gloss as well. Keep in mind my car is the Tungs grey.. any ideas or am I doing a lame deal???

 

I think the black tail would look good on your car (I have a Tungsten and plan on getting a black decklid spoiler on mine) but I think the black window scoops might be too much... if they were louvers, though, that would look cool. I'd be like a Boss remake.

 

I say go for it....

Black trim, spoilers, and louvers always look good on the S197 mustang, although I think1/4 window scoopssshould always be painted the color of the car for a more seamless appearance. Be sure to post pictures when you get the parts installed!

 

I've been toying with this too. I've been considering a decklid blackout and black spoiler. I'm just not sure if I want to go flat black or gloss....

 

Ohhh man , I like the looks, Arighty well i went ahead and took my stuff to the paint shop. Told them to do the side scoops and the windows the same color.. I plan on getting the Wing later on this week if I can find a place that has a black take off. so Well see, and I ll post some pics of the air box and the rest of the parts next week when installed and car is cleaned up.. Damn salt.... ugh
