Is it possible for the average guy with basic mechanical knowledge to install an x-charger/procharger?
I am considering boosting, but want to cost to stay low after the kit's cost.
As for tuning I know prochargers can be ordered with a tuner.

 

from my understanding the xcharger is fairly simple to put on. if you can catch him afixer would be the best to ask. he just recently had an xcharger install party.

 

i installed my procharger my self it is really simple to do if you have general mechanical knolege

 

all the s/cs are fairly simple to install but the xcharger owuld be the easiest

 

from your handel i am assuming you are a army mechanic? lol....better be easy for you

no im not armymech too im a totally diff person i just like messin with him were in the same platoon

 

for me even installing the turbo was easy.

i pulled the intake manifold off a 4.0 SOHC in about 20 minutes, so installing an xcharger for me, would be a BREEZE

vortech is probably the easier centri to install, unless ur afraid of tapping
procharger is easy, just a tad dmore plumbing than the vortech
