Default Diff between 87 and 93 tune

I loaded the brenspeed 93 octane tune yesterday for the first time. After driving around with the 87 tune.. it seemed like there was a big difference between the two.

So far, it seems like the 93 tune is much smoother.. including the shift points. The 87 feels like it's shifting hard unless you really baby it.
I'm also getting better gas milage with the 93 tune (as others have said).

Just curious.. does anyone know what the difference is between the two.. besides the used of a different octane?
I could just email them.. but don't want to bother support with such a basic question.

The 93 has more timing due to the higher octane. Not sure about the trans.

From my research the difference between 87 and 91 tune is 3rwhp and 3.5 tq because of advanced timing. For 93 it is possibly 4.5rwhp and 5 tq.

i dont know the any of the tech stuff, but if its like the superchip tuner, the 87 tune is great down low, gives it great wheel spinning power. the 91 tune does that and pulls hard at the higher rpm, really puts your head in the head rest. i havent noticed any mpg gaines but it hasnt droped eather.
