Default Goodbye Elisha!

Well today was a sad yet exciting day! Sad because I said goodbye to Elisha, exciting because I am now the proud owner of an 07 GT Black on Black. I got it for $25k with 1100 miles on it. Pretty good deal I thought. I was a litle sad that I had to leave all my parts on there because I didn't keep any of the stock parts, lol but I did salvage my taillight covers and my brandy new floor mats..woo hoo! lol Anyway it was great to learn from everyone on the V6 side I guess it's time for me to move on over to the V8 forum, but I will always remember my V6 roots lol V6 basher I will not be. Good luck to everyone and remember there is no replacement for displacement!

that must have been hard.... but I know how you feel.... having a V6 is fun, but sometimes, you want to see if the grass is greener on the other side... and sometimes it truely is... I kinda wanna trade in my V6 for maybe a GT but i would be taking a big loss, so much money invested... hate to see it go... I hope you like your GT, at least this way you dont need to keep explainning that its only a v6... im kinda getting tired of telling everyone its not a real GT... lol..

I test drove a GT not long ago. Not sure what kind of aftermarket exhaust it had, but it was really, really loud. The dealership wanted my baby, plus 10 grand. Thing is, I really like my car and everybody compliments me on it. So I'll keep it for 5 years and then trade up to eithera GT or possibly something better, we'll see.

hey beautstang i know you prolly got me right now with that X lol and Fazm your car is sick why would you want a GT? lol I really did not want to get rid of my car, because I had put a lot into it, but money wise it was very smart for me especially with 80k miles on it. Atleast now I got more HP to work with But I am definitely happy, the GT is plenty fast for me, but God knows soon enough i will want more. We always do.Thus the life of modding.

Hey, it works for you, congrats. Glad to have you stay in the stang family. I too have been faced multiple times with the GT though at every evolution of my car, but decided to see how far I could possibly get with the V6.

Keep us updated on your car. Again congrats.
