I'm getting close enough to the marketed specs. I would suggest checking your tire pressure and leaning forward when you drive...j/k to the latter. Assuming those numbers represent conservative driving...ouch.

Been trying to get full bars in the Fuel Economy reading but still at 20.8 average with mostly highway driving 160 miles daily on weekdays.. I have changed my ignition wires, installed JBA shorties, C&L CAI with Xcal2 from AA, true duals with GT take Offs...all these should improve my average gas consumption. I do have the Roush hood scope and side window louvers...maybe it's causing a drag!

what kind of rpms are you guys turning at around 65-70mph? I know the Stang comes with a 5spd auto tranny...its just that I get 27-29mpg hi-way with my GP but its only turning 2400 rpm at that speed. Given that my car has a 3.8 and the stang has a 4.0, I would guess mileage should be close unless the 4.0 is turning a lot more revs.

As an average between highway and city I get 18.5 MPG.

When I'm on the highway and take it slow I get close to 29.

Around the town, depending on how much I drive like an ***, i can get 14-20.

To any and all that don't have the MPG change much are you reseting the MPG on each fillup on the message center? I didn't the first 1000 miles and it hardly changed. Now I reset at each fillup and get quick changes depending on terrain. 16 city in winter, 19 city summer. and 23-24 average highway, best highway 28.2. IfI goes for a nice cruise on winding back road without too many stops a average 25-26. Throw in some hills and I'm 21. It is interesting what conditions can change the mpg average.
