Default sct octane question

im about to install the cai and tune it, and it says set it to 93 octane for the best performance.. around here the premium gas is 92 octane.. is that close enough to 93 or do we have a problem here?

Around here, BP and the old Citgo places are really the only ones that have 93. I don't see how it would be a problem though.

not a problem unless you've REALLY modded your car.. and advanced spark, etc... basically, if it starts knocking, then you've got trouble. if it feels like it's running lean, enrich the fuel a bit at a time..
