I saw a similar hood blackout done in a matte finish on an 07 (vinyl), and it looked like it was 10 years old. It showed every mark from being washed. Gloss would look better IMO...

 

i think gloss would look better as well, especially on the trunk and hood...the spoiler i could understand going matte, that would look cool in my opinion

 

trpcthndr...look at this guy/girls post in the 05+ V6er step up thread..he has the same concept as you w/ the blackout hood/rear deck/spoiler except in gloss w/out the c stripes on the side, maybe check his profile for pics as well.

 

I like the look but I don't like the fact it's in two pieces with a seam down the middle.

 

Ok, for all of you who have been waiting for the Steeda style hood blackout, it is finally here. I fininshed it today, and I am very pleased how it turned out.
