Actually there are 4 or 5. I put on a Saleen short shifter adapter so I could use stock 12.5mm shifter thread for my MRT shift ball. Lowest cost at 50ish bux easiest to install and works great for me. shift is must shorter and crisp. Hurst is the most popular of the full replacement kits though, but Saleen, Steeda, B&M, Ford Racing(basically a hurst), and Pro 5 all make shifters that work. Each install has its own proponents..Use the search feature on the site to look up threads on each as they have been discussed in large quantities....

actually...for the v6, all of those wont work...B&M and steeda and ford racing are all for the gt's. We have different trannys then the gts and therefore require slightly different shifters

Well with all due respect red, I know for a fact that Steeda, Hurst, and pro 5 will fit cause i seen em with my own eyes...on v6 T5s.... I dont know how or if they had to mod em to fit. in any case the Hurst is best if your into the look and spending 180bux, for the same action the Saleen is 50Bux...lost of custom boots, ***** and stuff for the remianing $100+..

Do a search on the forums for a "pro 5 shifter" you'll find lots of posts but a specific one for install on the T5...
