+1000 I test drove a mustang, but was dragged around to investigate some other cars. I sat in a civic and was like..... um no thank you. Mustang ftw

ORIGINAL: Surf Bum

I test drove a Honda Accord V6. I really liked it, it's pretty quick. Then I went across the street and drove a V6 Mustang. Onetrip around the block and I bought it. I'm not sure whois lying about their power, but the Mustang feels much faster. Plus it handles better, rides better, looks way better, better stereo, better tires/wheelsand for the same price as a used Accord I got a brand new Mustang. It was a no brainer. The Honda doesn't even get better gas mileage. The only thing better about the Honda was the back seat (if you have to sit there). It might last longer but the decision to get the Mustang was a no brainer.

Agreed! Definitely not much a difference in gas mileage for the Accord. Mustangs FTW!

IMO HP is not everything, I love my pony and don't care if some japscraps are faster, The mustang is a legend a honda is a honda. I would never drive a jap car, if I got one for free.......I would sell it and buy another Mustang.
Also the Mustang is sooooooo beautiful, I always look back at it when I park it and walk away.

peak power numbers don't really mean all that much. look at some of the huge single turbo supras running around with 1500hp that can't get out of the 10's. Gearing, torque curve, and weight are what makes the car.

I test drove a honda v6.
It was quicker, smoother, had more options, and had a nicer interior.
It was $5000.00 more than my mustang that I bought across the street,
and It wasnt a Mustang.

I don't think torque is what makes the difference in these cases, it's gearing. We've been over these things multiple times. [&:]
