you can FOR SURE drop your 60'. 2.1 is definately doable even with the 20"s. that'd be closer to .3+ off your 1/4 with just the 60' improvement alone.

Yes Sir, he's right. After learning how to react to the Tree(how to get the best 60ft time, not really a R.T. when just at a track session), I went from a 2.28 60ft(14.1@99 1/4 mile) to a 2.07 60ft(13.7@101.5 1/4 mile), so yes Grasshopper, it is very important to get a proper launch technique. My car has 18" factory Bullitts(they're not very light, either), so there's hope with those Dubs. You should be around 14.6-14.8 with a great 60ft and even better driving.........

i read in some mag that the 4.0 will run high 14s in stock form. is that wrong or are they blowing smoke, of corse it was for a 4.0 that they twin turboed and was running 12s. but besides that, were they wrong?

i've also read somewhere that a 4.0 did a 14.9 stock. wish i knew where the link was.

i dont know about losing those fancy tires! i just slapped some raceline GT wheels 20" wrapped in toyo proxies. i have an air intake kit..diablo sport tune and magna flow exhaust...i went from a 13.9 - 13.3

i dont know why your not runnin faster...

do you drive slow with it then go race? is it an automatic...??

i always open up the car for awhile...go play a bit before a race...get the computer on NON-conserve mode lol

and hopefully you didnt buy some HEAVY 20's

but if you want performance over looks...smaller rims the way to go.

well are you an auto or stick?

and as far as 14.9 stock it probly took 10 runs and a great launch that broke the car after that lol. but it depends the location track conditions. im sure with perfect conditions and the right track with radials or maybe stock tires you could squeeze a 14.9. it would probly have to be a pony package because it has better suspension and a stick so you could launch hard.

i did 15.26 100% stock (tires, tire pressure, spare, jack etc) in arizona in may. so not exactly the best racing conditions, so i can see someone on a cold day on the east coast going 14.9 if they can drive.

+1, and i dont think you have the pony package do you fazm? the pirrelis are quite a bit stickier than the stockers on the base models, and 15.0's have been done by a couple testers on a totally base model, so i'm absolutely positive it is possible.
