so ya i just picked up the tribar emblems for the fenders from my ford dealership. is it ok to remove the pins in the back? or am i supposed to drill in the fender? i thought these pins were removable. did anyone have trouble removing them?

edit, never mind i got them off. lol.

Looks real good, I've been meaning to go by my ford dealership to check in to some. How much did they cost you?

 

$40 for the set. left and right. there are some shops online that sell it for $30, but you have to wait, shipping and what not. i think i'll spend that extra $10 and get it now. lol.

 

Yeah, I saw them on ebay for like 38, but I'd have to pay like 5 shipping and wait a few days for them to arrive...I'd rather get them now from the stealership.. lol

Did you end up getting yours to stay on without the pins in the back of the emblems?

 

yup stayed on no problem. waited an hourorso for it to bake under the HOT florida sun and even washed my car after that.i did have some trouble aligninging it though. my measuring tape just wasn't cooperating w/ me today. when i got itjust right, i stuck it on.lol. it should beveryeasy if you have a 2nd person holding the ruler or tape measure.

 

well if the Florida sun baked it on then I shouldn't have any problems at all here in Texas... just wait for the clouds to disappear and I'll be lookin at high 90's low 100s :-/
