+1.
Credit card companies kick *** at that.
I once had a gym charge me 75 bucks to sign up, then after they charged my card I decided to cancel. They told me the charge would be credited back in 2 days...A week later, no credit...I call the bank, tell them the story, the bank gave me 75 bucks and went after the gym. It was awesome.

No offense. Contact the company and let them know you were not aware of the charges and you would like the charges reveresed. If you are firm they will probably comply. For future reference, DO NOT provide your credit card number unless you are making a purchase. Those "Free" subscriptions that ask for a CC # on the front end are simply setting you up to bill you once the trial period is over or to nail you with a hidden or hard to find disclosed charge.
Perfect example is freecreditreport.com. It's not really free as they ask for your CC number and you're signing up for credit monitoring (read the fine print). If something is truely free they will NOT ask for your CC #, not for age verification, not for ability to pay, not for security, zip, zero, zilcho.
For the record annualcreditreport.com IS free. Ironic how the site with the word Free is not and the one without, is.

RE: I was stupid
Actually up till now I have been very responsible with my CC, I have been killing myself for being so stupid with it, well luckily I have a habit of never making the same mistake twice, unfortunantly I usually have to make the mistake before I learn the lesson, such as with the Army, all of my enlisted family and friends told me it was a mistake to join, it took all until day 2 to realize they were right, lol. But thankyou all for the advice, I am in the middle of taking care of it right now, lesson learned.
