I'm pretty much running custom SLP's. Put the Pypes X on, and took off the street pro's mufflers and had a shop put on just pipes and tips where the muffler would be. I like it, sounds good, decent loudness, but LOUD if you get on it.

il try and put opne up but the quality will be hoprrible its only form a digital cam. liek the idle is amazing but there is alot of drone and at hight points on a cold start can sound ricey. im considering switching to mrt it is said to give most hp gains.

Not for me, idle sounds great, but no drone to very little drone unless im up at like 3500 rpm. And on a cold start, it sounds nice and deep, not ricey at all.

Not sure.. but it does feel a little stronger. And I had it running with just one side complete, and the other side pipe (where the muffler would start, to the tip) came off due to poor welding, and it felt soooo sluggish compared to after it got put back on.So much more responsive. So for my conclusion, running WITHOUT MUFFLERS, as in taking off the mufflers with nothing in it's place, probably will sound louder, buzzier, and feel like it's missing some low end.

yea running with no mufflers you lose back pressure so you would lose low end. idk i like my slp but sometimes i wonder about the gains i am getting if a different systems could give more. but i am happy with it. im glad to ehar the duals help the drone and ricey sound. i might just get and h pip and stick on the other one. did you cut your bumper? or have a shopp do it? or do u have a gt bumper?
