Worth it? I'm looking at JBA Catward short tube headers. They're a bit expensive; is what they'll give me worth it?

From what I've seen on here, not worth it. Think you'll only get 7-10 horse at most on a stock or mildly modified stang. I think they give you more benefit if you go F/I though.

if it's 7-10 then that's a good amount. from what i've heard it just adds more sound than anything else

i keep hearing that they're not worth it on N/A stangs so i scratched it from my plans. 5-10 HP is good but not for the price. i'm just saving up for gears/t-lok now.

i bought the full system (two mufflers and h-pipe setup). i love em. look awesome. many stares and compliments on the car's look). as for sound, its a steady aggressive growl. 100% Beef, no rice.[8D]

$400+ that you would spend on the headers that MAYBE give you 5-10, plus installation if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself. $500 gets you an intake, XCal2 and tune and 15-20...better deal in my opinion.
