Default Stripes !

Hey stangers, I'm getting two performance white vinyl stripes to put on my vista blue pony. Does anyone know the width of the stripes for the new shelby gt 500's and whats the gap size between the stripes?

I have some glossy black vinyl stripes for my 05 screaming yellow stang. I just dont know where to bring it to get it put on. They are 10" wide stripes. I think I might bring it to a window tint shop since it's just a wet application and thats what they do with window tint. They quoted me between $200 and $300 depending on the time it takes them. Is this a good idea or should I bring it somewhere else. Any suggestions?

dont go to a tint shop even if they say theyll do it ! you want to go to a shop that specializes in applying stripes. Even if you have to fork out a little extra dough it will be worth not having crooked or bubbly stripes. Your local ford dealer will also do them but for about $650, thats what i was quoted at least for the stripes and installation.

I bought my wife's vista Blue and had the dealer put on the alternate whitestripes. It is the two stripes with pin stripes on both sides of the larger stripe. Not too many people are aware of this option. I am the only one I have seen with them. I was stopped by a guy who had the Vista Blue Shelby GT 500 just to compare my stripes. He said he was taking his back to the dealer to have them put on thesame kind I had on. The dealer should have a picture of these. If not, I will post or send a copy to you. dwgnr825@msn.com

No, it's as sickstang said above. 6 stripes total, It looks really good not busy at all. Especially on the back end. Everyone I've seen around here has the two broad stripes. I think the two pin stripes make it look classier. Here are two pics of the front and back.
