Default Question...

Ok sorry this has been like beaten to death here but, I need some advice. I cant decide on what to get. I know both are very good company and everything. But I want to hear from you guys. Here is where I'am stuck. I have narrowed it down to either.

VMP Tuning - 05-07 Mustang V6 Custom SCT X-Cal2 Flasher and C&L Intake
With the three tunes
http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...=195&parent=92

-OR-

Evolution Performance - 2005-2008 Mustang V6: SCT XCalibrator 2 and C&L Cold Air Intak
With the three tunes
http://www.evoperform.com/shop/index...roducts_id=186

I know 2 guys that have GT500's and have tunes from Evo and are really happy with them. I just don't know how they are with V6's

And then I get to thinking they are cheaper...and the whole you get what you pay for ****. Sooo I really dont know. Any one with Evolution Performance?

-Thanks

Out of those 2 choices I would go with VMP every time.
Justin has a history with the 4.0 platform and has tuned many of them. He has a good reputation and his customers seem loyal.

Make sure you are actually getting 3 tunes with the xcal.. as far as I know.. only two tunes will fit on the xcal with Mustangs 07 and above.
The stock tune is still on there.. but you can only fit two custom tunes on it. That has been my experience with both tuners that I have used.

?? So you are saying that only 2 tunes fit on the Xcal2 because the 3rd spot is taken by the factory tune? I thought it held 3 tunes plus the factory one, that was my impressions.

VMP ALL THE WAY! I just installed my intake and tuned my car with one of justins 87 performance tunes. My car fricken awoke, just driving on the turnpike, I went Wide open throttle and was amazed at the aggressive shift/throttle lag reduction, my car flew. Justin is friendly, helpful and like buckman said he is pretty much a 4.0 Guru.

Edit- you do recieve three tunes, I recieved 87 performance 87 mileage and 93 performance
