Purchase a short cane and us that to jabe your pedals. It may appear that you're just learning how to drive, but at least you're back in the saddle again!

Years ago I broke my left ankle......I some how managed to drive a stick shift with a cast on my leg from the calf down. Sometimes I would push the clutch and the brake at the same time!
