35/15 gives you nice and dark on the 3 back windows and passable for cops on the 2 front windows I like mine

30% is legal limit for the driver/passenger side (in Texas)

5% is what I have for the back three windows. Looks awesome and works great, and is legal!

Here are the window tint laws for every state if you are concerned about being legal: http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/
I'm from MT where they don't really give a $hit about that sorta thing, but I suppose it's different in the big cities.

I originally did 20% and it was way too dark ... I was too worried about getting pulled over ... I replaced it with 35% and it still looks great. I had a trim shop check it with 20% installed ... and due to the factory tint their meter registered 9% ...

Check with your local law if you're worried about tickets or whatever, but otherwise, go as dark as you can. Limo tint all around looks completely badass. I think a lot of people go with 20% though, because even though it's usually illegal on the sides, it's light enough that most cops won't pick on you, and still dark enough to look really sharp.

I'm personally not a fan of having different tint %'s on the back/quarter windows and the sides, but that's another option if you want to keep it legal.

And remember: If you see the po-po, roll those side windows down and hope they're not trying to fill the ticket quota that day.

Go with 2% all the way around with 35% on the windshield!
