I have a 2007 V6 convertible, and besides the fact that someone blew out the amp and speaker before I bought it, I have had no problems. I am going on 8500 miles with no rattles or shakes.

Mines an 05 with 46k on it now. I didn't own it for the first 45k, but I'll tell you the engine still sounds really smooth, looks brand new, and there is nothing wrong with this car. Feels brand new, solid car.

Absolutely love mine!

I have driven almost 65,000 miles since April 2006 on mine.

These are definitely not all "easy miles"...

I average about 28.3 at 65-85 on my daily commute (190 miles).

This year I added full duals and a T-LOK axle.

Next year I'll get the SCT2 tuner.

You will want to IMMEDIATELY get a new muffler for the wife's pony.

The lower restriction should net about +2 MPG and better sound.

These stangs seem to "learn" how the owner wants sthem driven, and behave accordingly.

Drive it hard and they respond in kind.

Drive it like a Sunday School teacher and you will think "it's a dog".

My 2 cents.

See video below for Maxxine's transistion from "Sunday Driver" to raging "Monster"...

i have 50k on my v6 auto and no problems except for the parking brake issue which happened on early produced 2005 v6 models. Other than that, I drive it through the NY winter everyday.....it's a trooper. Definitely reccomend this car.

And another thing to add is that I have yet to hear of anyone (except foracouplerunning boost and/or nitrous) needingany engine repairs; these 4.0's seem very durable and reliable. When some more of us start getting up around 75-100K, we'll see if this remains true.

~30K miles on my '06 V6. Mods are blacked out signal lights and a dual exhaust from a GT. Only problem I've had is the fuel gauge has read empty a couple of times when it wasn't. That and some rattles every now and then. I love it. ;o

Thanks for the replies. I found 2 identicalnew '07'son the same lot that are what we are looking for (redfire, Pony pack, auto, traction control) and I have a X-plan number so all I have to negotiate is her Cavalier trade-in (great car, crappy resale value). I'll let everyone know how it went Monday.

Well, we bought it. Nice car, very tight. My wife is a small gal so sheloves that the power seat lets her raise up for a good view of the road. I like the handling, styling and even though I have a GT stick, I must say the 4.0/auto is a hoot. Thanks for the replies, I think we made a good choice.
