Default what is this about?

well, i had a 04 mustang before this 07 that i have now, and i remember burning the tires off of that car on a daily basis...

one of the first things that i noticed about the 07 , is that i couldnt make the tire spin, even if i tried, except around an occassional corner. I have the p package so i always assumed it was some traction control or something. Isn't there supposed to be a tc button next to the power plug? all i have is some blank "dummies" next to my hazzard and air bag buttons.

Anyway, I ordered my CAI/Tune combo from evolution today and gave them my computer code JYH2 and the guy (fred) says "oh yeah, it has traction control..." what gives??? so i told him to turn it off on my tunes.

what do you all think?

if you dont have the off button, you dont have tcs

do you have abs?

because the 07 pp's do not come with abs/tcs

see , thats what i thought...since i didnt have a button...
however, when he looked up the code JYH2, it said it was there...and it does seem like something is stopping it from spinning, even if you brake torque it, it wont spin... anyway..hopefully the tune will fix that.

the 6ers have open diffs unlike the GT's, that is why you can only break one tire free

its not just the traction control if you have an auto especially it is modt likely the rev limiter. i kno i had to remove mine to spin mine wen it was dry out. and yea the system must be reading funny becaue if there is no button and they didnt say u get it on window sticker you dont have tcs. but yea just have them remove it you dont rele ever need it unless your an idiot and you feel yourself skidding in the rain and dont let off the gas it does it for you.

I have no issues spinning my tires on demand. Sometimes it's too easy. Even with the TCS on I can still get them to go..I am a manual though.
