my rotors were cracked and I was getting some BAAAAD rubbing noises around 30-45 mph that never got better or worse but I just got sick of it. If it bothers you, just take it in. I got mine switched out under warranty and just walked in, signed a paper, got my keys and walked out. Worth getting it checked, even if they can't do anything. My brakes started at about 16k and I got the work done at 18k.

yes I did. I love this ford repair place, they're probably the most honest people I've ever dealt with. Never brought it to another one so I couldn't tell you that I'm positive they'd do it for free but they SHOULD. They'll at least look at them for free. But they could tell by looking at them that my rotors were cracked which wasn't a normal thing to deal with.

I bet I know what it is. I had the exact same problem on my 2004. It turned out to be a sticking brake caliper, It made only half of the brake pad be pressed and caused a sqeeking noise.

that's the thing though. They don't actually do any sales, it's just a ford authorized repair center. I started going there while I'm up here at school because the place back where I live IS that sleazy. They fixed my bumper after my truck's bumper got damaged. They buffed the whole thing until it looked like a mirror and washed and waxed the whole thing and vaccumed out the inside. That's why I say I'm not positive that all Ford places will treat you as well as this place does, but if it's under paperwork they should have to.
