would this fit the v6? And really, what does it do i dont get the just of it? does it use the sequential shifter or does it do something completely diff? could some one please explain!

thats a nice shifter, id be interested to see if it works for a v6..

still, surely there is something out with a leather grip, steel shaft, chrome highlights that will look kick ****!

I would think it would fit the 4.0s as they share the same Auto trans as the GTs. I wouldn't be surprized if there was any minor modifications if any needed "somewhere" though.

A ratchet shifter changes gears one gear at a time by pushing or pulling the lever (aka- ratcheting). Pushing forward shifts up a gear and pulling back downshifts a gear... most have a reverse lockout to prevent you from accidentally shifting into reverse. Wouldn't want you to have too much fun now would we!

and you can just drive it in normal auto when not auto shifting?

Yep. As long as it's in D the trans doesn't know the difference.

its cool but i still think we need more styles and variations. i like the style of our current one but just wish it was steel or chrome, not "fisher price" plastic[&:].

It should, but I'm wondering why they aren't advertising as such?

They could easily double their market share...

I have emailed them several times but haven't gotten a reply yet.
