Default my modding plan...

ok guys, i've been mulling over what direction to take my 07 alloy stang in terms of modding it and i think i've decided on a direction (even though it will take awhile to pull it all off). first off for christmas i'm getting dg custom quarter louvers. i'm also getting slate metallic racing stripes and matching side rocker stripes (apparently the slate stripes are almost an exact match to the tungsten stripes on the gt500). next i'm adding the gt hood scoop.

next i want to add the new cervini's v6 b2 chin spoiler: https://www.cervinis.com/product.asp...p;id=1208#4365(bottom of the page), as well as take off rocker panels and gt rear bumper. by the way, is it at all possible to get takeoff gt mufflers with the polished rolled tips?

i also want to add cervini's type III ducktail spoiler: https://www.cervinis.com/product.asp...p;id=1208#4365(a little further up than the chin spoiler)

i already have a c&l cai with vmp tunes, but eventually i'm going to go f/i (and if/when the intercooled x-charger is released, that may be the route i go).

what do you guys think? what else could i add? i think it would be pretty unique.

+1......rims. they simply have the biggest effect on appearance. afterwards, you can then compliment the car with the list you made.

hmmm....well i think i'm going to wait until after f/i to change the wheels. i already own a set of 18" fanblades, but inmy experience i really didn't like how the heavier wheels made my car seem so sluggish. granted, i hadn't installed a cai/tune, but it was still a pretty major difference in accelaration. so i want to be sure i have the power to take it before i do that again.

i mean, if there's a way to add 18" wheels without noticing a decrease in acceleration (remember that i do have a cai/tune combo this time) then i'm open to switching...

hmmm....is the weight that much difference? the outside diameter is still the same, right?

theres more metal. and metal is much heavier than rubber. so yeah the diameter of the entire wheel/tire is the same, but it has a much greater mass.
