Default Need tips and advice! CAI help.

I need a CAI. And a tuner. Here's what I need specifically: 87 gas milage (if they have it,) 87 performance, 91 gas milage (if they have it,) 91 performance (wee!) and stock.

Who makes the best CAI+tuner for the job, and is reasonably priced? (If one company can deliver all 5 and before the end of the week, cost won't be an issue.) OR which CAI and which tuner should I get?

Bone stock V6 with no gofast mods and 17 inch wheels. Whatever the stock gearing is, too. I need to change that soon...

RECOMMENDATIONS MUCH APPRECIATED! ^_^

bama chips c&l intake + xcal2 + custom tunes that you want @ $625
vmp tuning (same thing i dont know price he's a vendor though)
You only get three tunes (ie 87 milage, 87 performance, 91 performance)
Vmp also has a cusom intake+ tunes w/ custom tunes+ gt takeoff muffler for about $600
As far as intakes go C&l is good and so is TI (tundable inductions). VMP's custom intake is cheap, but he says it doesn't matter and has some dyno that support this.
Here's the websites
www.b@m@chips.com
www.vmptuning.com (i think)
Hope this helps

Trent

edit: why can't i type bamachips?

+1...

Id go for VMP tuning for what you want. They are good with the V6 and offer the gas milage tunes. You can only get 3 tunes though. Go to their web site and give them a call.

Hi Aaron, I recommend going with Brenspeed; they offer everything you mentioned. They havea C&L CAI and SCT Xcal2 Tuner for a very good price. Check out their website. One thing that's very cool about them is they offer downloadable tunes via email so you don't have to send your tuner away to some vendor to have the tunes put on. Good luck, Jack.
